Sam Pittman's Arkansas Razorbacks emerged out of last year's Outback Bowl with a victory over the Penn State Nittany Lions by a score of 24-10. It was their first bowl victory since 2015, so naturally, a celebration was in order for Arkansas football. However, hoisting the trophy evidently wasn't enough, as Pittman took it upon himself to treat his team following the defeat of Penn State. Pittman said he bought the team rings after their college football bowl game victory. When asked why he did so, he provided a hilarious response, per Saturday Down South.

“Because I wanted to.” Hilarious. Sam Pittman really took the ‘treat yo self' mantra from the popular television show Parks and Recreation to heart here. College football teams don't generally do this for bowl game wins.

However, this wasn't just any bowl game win for the Arkansas football program. Snapping a bowl game drought was definitely a big part of it.

But it's also the way that the Razorbacks defeated Penn State. Not only did they do so shorthanded, but Arkansas set a program record for the most rushing yards in a bowl game.

It was a proud moment in the program's history, one that Pittman felt deserved more than just a plain, old trophy hoisting. Of course, the Razorbacks will now be faced with the challenge of attempting to build off of last year's success in the 2022 college football season

It won't be easy either, as a tough schedule awaits. All 12 of Arkansas' opponents made the postseason last year. If the Razorbacks can emerge with a bowl game victory- or better- from that schedule, then Sam Pittman will really treat his team.
