A cloud of uncertainty continues to loom over the availability of New England Patriots running back Damien Harris in their Week 10 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. He recently deflected questions about his status ahead of the game which kept many guessing regarding his current condition, as per Mike Reiss.

“To be honest, I am not really here to talk about that situation,” Harris told reporters. “It happened and it’s over with. I’ve been out here trying to get myself to play in this game and that is what I am focusing on. We’re playing a good physical team this week and I’ve just been trying to do my part in getting myself as mentally ready and as physically ready to be able to play in this game and be successful.”

The former Alabama Crimson Tide was recently carted off the field in the fourth quarter of their Week 9 tilt against the New York Jets. The sustained chest injury kept him on the turf for several minutes where he ultimately headed to the locker rooms and didn't return for the remainder of the game afterward.

He finished with tallies of 71 rushing yards on 14 carries before he left as his team successfully mounted a 30-27 comeback win against the lowly Jets. The Foxborough-based squad now improves to a 3-5 record to place third in the AFC East division.

Amidst the uncertainty surrounding Harris' situation, the Patriots will need all the help they can get as they are aiming for a much-needed victory against the Ravens to keep their postseason hopes alive.
