Real Madrid has been heavily linked to PSG star Kylian Mbappe all summer long after he refused to sign a new contract with the Ligue 1 giants. While he will likely stay put until 2022, it doesn't seem like Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti could care less if the Frenchman ultimately joined the club or not.

Via BR Football:

Well, that is certainly not the reaction anyone was expecting when one of the best young players in the world is keen on joining your squad. Real Madrid could certainly use another reinforcement up top, with Karim Benzema's best years behind him as a No. 9. It wouldn't exactly make sense for Mbappe to leave Paris right now anyway, considering they have arguably the most talented attack on the globe with him, Neymar, and now Lionel Messi leading the line.

Real Madrid is also having their own financial issues, which means they couldn't afford to buy Mbappe at this moment in time. But, he does become a free agent next summer. A boatload of clubs will likely come calling at that point, with Manchester United already showing an interest in bringing the youngster to Old Trafford.

Across all competitions last term, Kylian Mbappe bagged 35 goals. He's clinical, quick, and would undoubtedly be a tremendous addition to any side, including Real Madrid. But if he's not wanted by Ancelotti, it's possible he will take his talents elsewhere.
