Real Madrid star Karim Benzema was elated following the club's miraculous victory over Manchester City in the second leg of the Champions League Semifinals. Los Blancos stunned the Premier League giants in the final minutes of the game to force overtime and subsequently book their tickets to Paris for the Champions League final. Benzema was overwhelmed with emotion after the win and took to Instagram to celebrate with his die-hard fans.

Benzema could not have selected a better photo to sum up his emotions after the game, and rightfully so. After Madrid was on the backfoot for most of the first 90 minutes, they turned up the energy in the final few minutes and managed to score a pair of goals to equalize the game, courtesy of Rodrygo.
A penalty was awarded to Benzema in extra time after an errant foul from Ruben Diaz. The Frenchman coolly converted from the spot, giving Real Madrid its first lead since the first leg and propelling them into the Champions League Final. It was the first time in club history that Madrid had ever come back from behind to win a Champions League semifinal, marking a historic moment for the team.
Los Blancos are slated for a date with Liverpool in the Champions League Final on May 28, at which point the two sides will compete to be crowned European champions. Benzema and the rest of Real Madrid will be riding the high from this win for quite some time.
