Paris Saint-Germain just brought on Lionel Messi after his departure from Barcelona, but it looks like he may not get the chance to suit up alongside Kylian Mbappe. The rumors continue to swirl around Mbappe's potential exit, with Real Madrid at the center of it all.

The Spanish club has reportedly now made a formal bid for €160 million to sign Mbappe immediately, per Fabrizio Romano. More details here:

Real Madrid sure ain't playing around here.

After starting his career with Monaco, Mbappe initially went to PSG on loan in 2017. The move was made permanent in 2018 with a transfer worth €180 million plus bonuses. This transfer is No. 2 on the highest transfer payment list in history, with Neymar's €222 million transfer from Barcelona to PSG holding strong at No. 1.

Mbappe has been dynamite ever since joining PSG, earning a number of awards and accolades. He has three Ligue 1 titles, three Coupe de France titles and two Ligue 1 Player of the Year trophies. He has also been the top scorer in Ligue 1 three times with PSG.

Despite all this success, Mbappe hasn't extended with PSG, with Real Madrid ready and waiting to pounce. The LaLiga powerhouse is looking to make a big splash by luring the 22-year-old phenom away from France, and we'll have to wait and see if this bid will do the trick.
