A new report from Spain says that Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has revealed his stance on the circulating rumor claiming Newcastle United is now keen on signing him.

Newcastle United is generating quite a buzz in the soccer world as the club had just become one of the richest organizations in the sport. As expected, big names are now being linked to the club's name, including Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale, according to Spanish outlet Defensa Central.

The report said that despite Newcastle’s apparent strong interest in Bale, the 32-year-old has been enjoying his sterling return to Real Madrid, having spent a season-long loan spell at Tottenham last season.

Bale is currently injured but the report added that not one bit will change as soon as he recovers and he will continue where he left off at the start of the season with Real Madrid.

There has been no concrete statement yet from either Real Madrid and Bale about the Newcastle transfer link-up but based on an earlier comment of Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti, the player is likely to stay.

“[Gareth] Bale has also been totally committed and I’ll think he’ll improve because he’s still not at full fitness,” Ancelotti said in August via Eurosport.

“I’ve been impressed with him and he’s shown great desire,” the manager continued.

However, other reports from Spain claim that along with Marcelo, Mariano Diaz and Luka Jovic, Bale too “have been told” Ancelotti that they cane “leave” Real Madrid, per Sky Sports.
