Big players want the big moments and Verdugo is here for all of it. The 25-year-old came over to the Red Sox last February in the Mookie Betts trade and has evidently found a home at Fenway. He hit .286 with 13 homers and 61 RBI's this season for Boston as their everyday left fielder. Due to injuries, he never actually got the chance to play in the postseason with Los Angeles which means this is his first time in the heat of October.

Verdugo also came up big in the Wild Card game against the Yankees, going 2 for 4 with three RBI's. Playoff baseball is clearly not intimidating the outfielder, who is proving to be a key piece of the Red Sox. He'll be looking to keep swinging it as Boston returns to Fenway for Game 3 on Sunday afternoon.
