The Washington Redskins sure are a roller coaster ride. Just yesterday it was announced that Colt McCoy would be practicing this week, but he isn't ready to return to game action yet.

Now he's a full participant in practice just one day later and starter Case Keenum missed due to a foot injury.

Now, being a full participant in practice doesn't mean he's ready for game action. However, you'd expect if he was still a while away from returning to an actual game, they'd ease him back into things.

This makes you wonder if the foot injury that Keenum is dealing with is a little serious. Maybe it's something the Redskins fear could keep him out of action this week, or even just something that they fear could get worse so they want McCoy to be prepared.

What it also does without even mentioning him is bury Dwayne Haskins. This is further indication that head coach Jay Gruden doesn't want to play Haskins yet if he can avoid it. If they're rushing back McCoy from an injury so he can replace Keenum that's exactly what it's indicating.

Of course, this is all speculation though. Keenum could simply be resting for one day with a sore foot. It could be nothing more serious than that.

At the same time, maybe this was always the plan with McCoy. Maybe they feel he's ready for full practices, but don't want him taking real hits in an NFL game.

Whatever the case, the reality is that fans are tired of losing. They want solutions and having all this uncertainty at quarterback certainly isn't going to help them any time soon.
