The Washington Football Team (formerly the Redskins) have had a lot of bad press recently, and it looks like more is being thrown their way, as more allegations have come out against team owner Dan Snyder.

This time around, Snyder is being accused sexual harassment. This comes not long after a lot of top officials on the team were accused of the same thing. However, now Snyder himself is the one getting blamed for misconduct.

Adam Schefter of ESPN shared Snyder's response to the allegations in the Washington Post.

This certainly does not look good for Snyder. However, he does dispute the claims.

In his statement, the owner of the Washington Football Team says there is no place in the organization for the “behavior described in the Washington Post's latest story.”

With that comment, it is unsurprising that Snyder is denying the allegations.  He states the he was unaware of the allegations and does take full responsibility for the culture of the organization.

Snyder also admits that he has been too “hands off” as an owner. He then claims that he will be more “hands on” as an owner in the future. That is something that might actually not make too many fans happy, as they already feel he is too involved.

Snyder also says the organization is “assembling a world class team of external advisors to both investigate these allegations and create an actionable and measurable plan to change our culture.”

He then calls out the allegations and the article. Snyder calls that the Washington Post article a “hit job,” and he clearly is not happy with the way everything was released.

Snyder calls out the fact that the allegations are “ten to twenty years old” and says that he is disappointed in Mr. Scourby. He then states that he does not have any knowledge of the “ten-year old video in reference”, saying he did not “request their creation” and never saw them.

Snyder ends it by citing that there are former employees on the record denying the claims. He says that the Washington Post denied their request to be provided with copies of the videos in question.

The owner of the Washington Football Team says that the article is “riddled with questionable and unnamed sources” and “decades old allegations” saying that it is not a reflection of the current team.

It is difficult to guess what will come of these allegations. However, at the moment it certainly does not look great for Dan Snyder. All of these allegations being piled on to the other current bad publicity that has surrounded the team is painful to see.

Could this spell the end of Snyder's tenure with Washington?
