The Washington Redskins are in desperate need of receiving help, and quarterback Dwayne Haskins is doing his part to help the cause.

Haskins made a not-so-subtle post on his Instagram story on Friday, putting up a photo of Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs in a Redskins jersey running with a football with Haskins in the background.

Of course, this is bordering on tampering (and I use the word “bordering” loosely) because Diggs is still under contract with the Vikings. The wide out has recently kind of, sort of expressed his displeasure with Minnesota by removing all Vikings-related content from his Instagram account, but he has never publicly said anything about wanting a trade.

Minnesota has also seemed to remain steadfast in planning to hold on to Diggs, so Haskins' post could be much ado about nothing.

But hey, you can't necessarily blame Haskins for trying, seeing as how the Ohio State product just had a rather rough rookie campaign that was compounded by the fact that he didn't have many options to throw to outside of Terry McLaurin.

Diggs has spent the first five years of his career with the Vikings, and while he has never made a Pro Bowl, he has developed into one of the NFL's most consistent wide outs and is coming off of a 2019 season in which he hauled in 63 receptions for 1,130 yards and six touchdowns.

The 26-year-old also caused some ripples earlier in the season when he was upset with his role and didn't show up to practice for a couple of days, but he returned and went on to have a very productive remainder of the year.
