A Washington Redskins fan was spotted in Dallas wearing a jersey with a long list  of surnames.

The list contained the surnames of the signal callers that had donned a Redskins uniform since 1999.

As posted by Darren Rovell of ESPN in his twitter account, the fan wore a Donovan McNabb jersey which he taped with the names of the 14 other quarterbacks that had taken snaps for the team.

The Redskins’ starting quarterback Alex Smith is out for the season because of a gruesome right leg injury.

The 34-year old got hurt after taking a sack in the third quarter against the Texans last Sunday.

It drew comparisons to an injury suffered by another Redskins quarterback Joe Theismann  33 years ago.

Smith was brought from the Kansas City Chiefs in the offseason to bring stability to the QB position that Kirk Cousins had vacated. But things look grim for the Redskins as they suffered this setback.

Colt McCoy will start for the Skins in their Thanksgiving Day showdown with the Dallas Cowboys. Redskins fan hope he can replicate or surpass Smith’s performance for the NFC East-leading team this season.

The Redskins are currently 6-4 in a considerably weaker division. They hope that they can go on and grab wins despite a career backup quarterback starting for them, possibly for the remainder of the season.
