The Washington Redskins have dealt with a lot of injuries which has been a big reason for the team's struggles as of late, but there is a chance the team could still decide to move on from head coach Jay Gruden.

After Sunday's blowout loss against the New York Giants Gruden was asked about his job security and he tried to downplay the idea saying he's fighting for his job every week.

“My job’s in jeopardy every week,” Gruden said, via the Associated Press. “So I’ve just got to go about and do the best I can, get these guys ready to go, and we’ll continue to do that.”

Even with the struggles at quarterback, it doesn't make up for the struggles the defense showed all game against the Giants. At times the defense looked like they had given up against Saquon Barkley and that allowed him to rush for 170 yards and a touchdown. The Redskins gave up 40 points including 27 during the second quarter. During the second half, the defense showed some life, but it was a little too late. The offense had issues moving the ball but that wasn't that unexpected.

The Redskins fans didn't have much to cheer about but they did boo plenty. The Redskins currently sit with a 6-7 record and have games against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans and, Philadelphia Eagles left. Even if they win out chances are they won't make the playoffs, but if they want any chance they can't lose a game coming down the stretch.
