Washington Redskins All-Pro cornerback Josh Norman expressed concern with regards to his team's struggling defense.
Per Ben Standig in The Athletic:
Asked if he expected safety help deep on Smith’s touchdown, Norman said, “Overall I look at it that I took it on the chin. I took everything else on the chin, so why not? I have to hold my head high and keep going forward. I’ve never been in this adverse state before. When adversity strikes, what do you do with it?”

The Redskins have allowed six touchdown passes, 336 rushing yards and 910 total yards in two games.
“I am. I’m a little bit surprised. I’d lie to you if I wasn’t,” Norman said. “It’s shocking.”
Washington has started the early 2019 NFL season with an 0-2 record, relinquishing more than 30 points in back-to-back matches. The early-season jitters on the part of the Redskins' defense do not bode well for the rest of the season, as two consecutive in-division losses have already cast a cloud over the year.
The one-time Pro-Bowl defensive back Norman, at 31 years old, arrived in the D.C. franchise in 2016 after four seasons with the Carolina Panthers to start his decorated career. Norman is a former fifth-round selection of the Panthers from the 2012 NFL Draft before signing a five-year contract with the Redskins.
Norman collected three interceptions with Washington last season, including three forced fumbles and 64 combined tackles.
The Redskins face Mitchell Trubisky and the Chicago Bears in Week 3.
