In a 2017-18 season that has come undone at the seams for the Washington Redskins, there wasn't very much to smile about during the team's 30-13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers at StubHub Center on Sunday afternoon.

One of the players who was visibly frustrated after the loss was none other than Redskins cornerback Josh Norman, who is understandably fed up with losing.

In an interview with Kimberley A. Martin of the Washington Post, Norman opened up about his first two seasons with the Redskins.

I came here to win a championship,” Norman said after Sunday’s loss. “If we’re not doing that, what are we doing? Why are we here?”

Norman even hinted at the possibility of leaving the Redskins in the future, as indicated via an article from Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

“Because I’m not going to be a part of something that’s not going to go forward and win a championship. That’s serious. I don’t care about the money, I don’t care about the fame, I don’t care about anything,” Norman said. “The only thing I care about is that ring. You can strip me however you want to; strip all the titles I have to my name. If I don’t win a championship, that means it’s all for nothing.”

The Redskins, who continue to deal with a plethora of injuries on both offense and defense, have lost two straight games and six of their last eight.

As for the longer view of things, Washington might want to make sure it doesn't lose Josh Norman.
