Washington Redskins safety Landon Collins can't wait to get a piece of New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley on the field. Collins predicted it'll be “full-go” between himself and Barkley when the Redskins and Giants collide during the 2019 NFL season, per the New York Post's Paul Schwartz.

I was only saying that for the media. I've been ready to tackle Saquon. That's my guy, though. When I get to meet him in the hole this time it's gonna be full-go.

In Collins' last year with the Giants in 2018, he told ThePostGame.com's Jeff Eisenband he's not afraid to tackle the explosive Barkley.

I'm excited because I saw one play in practice. He hit a hole so explosive and so fast, I was like I wouldn't want myself, personally, if he got the ball at that time and hit the hole that hard, I'd probably get out the way a little bit, just a little bit.

I'm gonna still make the tackle, but just a little bit. I'm not afraid to tackle him.

Collins signed a six-year, $84 million contract (including $32 million in guaranteed money over the first two years) with the Redskins on March 11. He told Schwartz on Sunday, “I don't feel like I bleed blue anymore.”

On that note, the rivalry between the Redskins and Giants have taken a new turn in 2019. Not only is Collins now in Washington, but the Redskins' rookie quarterback, Dwayne Haskins was a fan of Big Blue when he was growing up in New Jersey.

It should be fun watching Collins and Barkley going at it for the next six years. It's one of the new storylines which makes this rivalry an intense one.
