Dwayne Haskins is entering his first season as the full-time starting quarterback of the Washington Redskins. Doug Williams, the senior VP of player development for the Redskins, made a bold statement about about the sophomore passer.

Amid an appearance on 106.7 The Fan, Williams praised the second-year quarterback by telling Chad Dukes that he believes Haskins has the most talented arm of any quarterback in the past two drafts:

“I don't care who came out this year, last year, there's not a quarterback that's come out in the last two years that has the ability — from an arm strength standpoint and arm talent — that Dwayne Haskins has,” Williams said.

In the past two drafts, there have been a few quarterbacks who have stood out due to their arm talent. Besides Haskins, Kyler Murray and Joe Burrow are names that come to mind. Nevertheless, Williams thinks highly of Haskins, saying that he can “throw with the best of them”:

“Dwayne can throw with the best of them … Now mentally, he has to control the other part, and I think he has aligned himself and realized that's what he has to do and I think that's what he's doing. I think at the end of the day, give him the opportunity to do what everybody is doing, and that is to improve upon his game.”

Ever since his college days at Ohio State, Haskins has proven that he's able to make any throw on the field. However, it's his decision making that needs some tuning. If Haskins can figure out the mental aspects of his game, Williams seems to believe the sky is the limit for the former Buckeye.
