The Washington Redskins have made it known they could be trading a few big names. One of those names is cornerback Josh Norman.
However, it appears they aren't getting any interest in the veteran.

This should not really come as a surprise to anyone. While Josh Norman's not nearly as bad as some fans like to pretend, he hasn't been good by any stretch of the imagination either.
The cornerback has struggled all year long and has given up far too many big plays.
However, he's shown some good flashes as well. In the right scheme (zone) he could still be a solid asset to a team. Due to that, you might think a team would take him on and give him a chance in exchange for a seventh-round pick or something.
The problem here is the contract though. Giving Norman $12-million would really cripple a team when it comes to making moves in the offseason. At this stage in his career, it's really hard to envision a scenario where he would be worth that money.
With that in mind, and the trade deadline creeping closer and closer, it looks like Norman will still be on the Washington roster by the end of the day.
Maybe a team will decide to bite if the Redskins asking price for the cornerback is really low. However, that contract is going to keep a lot of teams away from him no matter how low the asking price is.
At 1-7, it should come as no surprise that the Redskins are trying to move on from some of their veteran players. It's looking more and more like they won't actually accomplish that at all though.
So far no one has been moved and the clock is ticking.
