Very rarely will an NFL player open up about a mission of violence, yet Washington Redskins linebacker Zach Brown seems to have no issue with it.

During an appearance on The Team 980, Brown admitted, via NBC Sports Washington, that he and his Redskins teammates will be targeting a former teammate, speaking of former teammate Terrelle Pryor and the upcoming joint practices with the New York Jets later in the summer.

“That’s going to be something right there,” Brown said, via NBC Sports Washington. “The boys are gonna have it out for him. We can put hands on him now. … The boys were already hot for what he was doing last year. Try to one-hand something while you’re with the Jets, you’re gonna catch a forearm.”

Pryor, 28, signed with the Jets this offseason after coming off one terrible campaign in D.C. In only nine games, Pryor racked up only 240 yards and a score on 20 receptions—clearly a far cry from his 1,007-yard season in Cleveland the year prior.

Interestingly enough, the Jets and the Redskins will come together for joint practices during training camp this July. The main reason for the vengeance is due to the idea Skins head coach Jay Gruden wouldn't allow defenders to get physical with Pryor last year in practice. He actually went as far as to say, on air, that Gruden is around “to protect you anymore.”

Pryor wasn't able to get in any work in with his new team during OTAs or mandatory minicamp as he's currently recovering from an ankle injury that plagued his lone year with Washington.
