The Washington Redskins are one of the teams that could shake up the 2020 NFL Draft early in the first round by selecting Tua Tagovailoa. According to Safid Deen of the Sun Sentinel, Washington feels like Dwayne Haskins ‘is not the guy right now'.

Leading up to the draft, most people believe the Redskins are going to select Chase Young. Young, the edge rusher out of Ohio State, is regarded by some as the best player available in this year's draft.

However, with Ron Rivera arriving as the team's new head coach, he could look to make a change at quarterback. Of course, Washington selected Haskins last year with the No. 15 pick. With that being said, Haskins was taken when Rivera was the head coach of the Carolina Panthers.

When a new head coach arrives, their priority is to make sure they have their quarterback in place. Even though he's complimented Haskins, it's unclear if Rivera is confident in him for the foreseeable future.

If these reports are true, Haskins and Tagovailoa could compete for the starting job in 2020. On the other hand, the Redskins could be trying to send a smokescreen early in the upcoming draft.

Near the top of the first round, the Miami Dolphins have been listed as a team that could be interested in trading up for Tagovailoa. There's no doubt that the Redskins could spoil their plans by selecting the Alabama product.

If Tagovailoa's medical evaluations are positive and performs well at his pro day, his value could begin to rise. There are still some shifts in judgment that could take place between now and April 23.
