Josh Norman gave the Washington Redskins a sliver of hope, albeit for a brief moment, during their Monday night showdown with the Chicago Bears.

With the Bears up 28-9 late in the third quarter, Norman decided to one-up his game and save the team from certain defeat. He intercepted the pass from Chicago QB Mitch Trubisky just right at the end zone, keeping the Redskins in the game.

Interestingly, the interception was only Norman's fourth over the last three seasons ā€” making the pick even more surprising.

It was a fantastic showing for the corner that helped prevent the game from getting out of hand. Unfortunately, the Bears went on to win the game 31-15. The Redskins managed to score a touchdown in the fourth, but to no avail.

Norman was frustrated with the state of the Redskins' defense and wanted to see improvements from his teammates. Hopefully, his recent showing will serve as an added motivation to the team.
