After the Detroit Pistons lost the final game of their series with the Cavaliers on Sunday night, point guard Reggie Jackson was not holding back in post-game interviews. He felt his team lost for the wrong reasons — a botched call by the referees.

In the final seconds of Game 4, the Pistons' last shot at surviving the playoffs, Jackson pulled up for a last-second three-pointer that would have won the game. He drew contact from Kyrie Irving, but the refs let the teams play on without blowing the whistle. The game completed the Cavaliers’ sweep with a 100-98 win.

In post-game interviews, Jackson called for a system where referees are fined, suspended and fired with the same level of accountability as players are. His distaste over what he considers to be a game-losing call was evident throughout the interview.
