After nearly a decade of consistent scoring for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Utah Jazz, and Charlotte Bobcats/Hornets, Al Jefferson is ready to move on to the fifth organization of his career.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, Jefferson has reached an agreement on a three-year, $30 million contract with the Indiana Pacers. Woj notes that it's unclear if the final year of the contract is guaranteed.

Compared to some of the other contracts being thrown around, this seems relatively small. It's not like Jefferson is that old at 31, but he's been in the league for a long time and the wear and tear of the 82-game scheduled has taken a toll on his body.

Last season, Jefferson only managed to play in 47 games, starting just 18 of them. His points and production in basically every other statistical category were down.

However, there's hope that a healthy Jefferson can once again by a close to 20-point per game presence. His array of post moves and a deadly jumper make him a solid fit in Indiana. He won't have to carry the offense with Paul George at the helm, instead taking a role similar to what David West used to have before he moved on to the Spurs.
