Sharpshooting free agent Anthony Morrow has agreed to a one-year, non-guaranteed deal with the Portland Trail Blazers, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.

Morrow was in the eyes of many teams, including the Minnesota Timberwolves, who worked him out along with another five free agents earlier this month.

The 31-year-old wing spent the majority of his last three seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder, suiting up for the Chicago Bulls for nine games.

Despite a declining scoring average, Morrow is still a career 40 percent three-point shooter, making him one of the cheapest commodities out on the market for teams looking to improve their perimeter scoring.

The North Carolina native has struggled from the field in his last few seasons, but remains a polished and trustworthy free-throw shooter, as well as a threat from beyond the arc — characteristics too hard to pass up for a Rip City team that gave away Allen Crabbe in order to lower their salary cap tax.

Morrow has averages of 9.4 points and 2.2 rebounds per game throughout his nine-year NBA career.  With 14 guaranteed contracts and a pressing need for a marksman off the bench, the long-range sniper has a good chance to stick around after training camp.
