The L.A. Clippers have signed former Utah Jazz 2016 second-round selection Tyrone Wallace, according to Keith Smith of Real GM.

Wallace was picked dead last in the draft and has been mostly a development project, spending all of last season as part of the Jazz's G-League affiliate Salt Lake City Stars.

The 6-foot-5 point guard out of the University of California at Berkeley has shown plenty of raw talent, but little polish to go with it, still an unreliable shooter from the perimeter and from the line.

His size and strength are intriguing factors, making this a perfect snatch for a team that is trying to re-tool with plenty of young pieces in the roster.

Wallace averaged 14.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.3 steals per game through 15 starts and 38 appearances with the Stars last season.

The Clippers expect him to keep developing with the brand new G-League affiliate Agua Caliente Clippers before considering bringing him up to become part of the 15-man roster.
