Free agent forward David West has agreed to re-sign with the Golden State Warriors for a one-year deal, also his last, according to David Aldridge of NBA.com.

The veteran minimum has reportedly spiked to the $2.3 million figure, according to Anthony Slater of the San Jose Mercury News.

The 6-foot-9 forward/center played an integral part as a member of the second unit, becoming the inside presence by meeting shots at the rim and playing a pivot-like position as the team's backup center.

A 14-year veteran in the league, West earned his first NBA championship last month and is looking to make a run at another before calling it a career after playing for the Indiana Pacers, New Orleans Hornets, and the San Antonio Spurs prior to landing with Golden State in 2016.
