The Golden State Warriors will be without the services of power forward Draymond Green and one of their key cogs off the bench, Ian Clark, against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday, according to Anthony Slater of the San Jose Mercury News.

The two Warriors suffered injuries on the same play during the third quarter of Friday night's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. While attempting to contest a shot by Lou Williams, Clark attempted to take charge and fell to the floor, Green meanwhile went for the shot-block and landed awkwardly on his left ankle, at which point he fell to the ground and hit Clark in the head with his right knee upon doing so.

Play was stopped shortly after and both were ruled out of the rest of the game by the start of the fourth quarter.

MRI results revealed no issues with Green's ankle but Kerr is choosing to play is safe in a back-to-back scenario, hoping to have him back on Monday. Clark actually had his throat stepped on during the play and is being kept out for rest and precautionary reasons.

Kevon Looney is set to make his first career start for the Warriors and will likely see the bulk of the minutes at power forward with help off the bench from David West and James Michael McAdoo.

The Warriors will face a tall task against a team that prominently attacks the paint, and they'll do so without their primary rim defender in Green. JaVale McGee could be needed early off the bench to match up against the size of reigning Rookie of the Year Karl-Anthony Towns and Gorgui Dieng.
