New Orleans Pelicans shooting guard E'Twaun Moore is probable to play against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday, according to Justin Verrier of ESPN.

The 6-foot-4 Purdue alum missed the team's last game against the Boston Celtics after exiting the prior game against the Los Angeles Lakers with a right big toe injury.

Moore came off the bench last week after head coach Alvin Gentry opted to start rookie Buddy Hield.

With the impending return of Jrue Holiday and Tyreke Evans, his minutes could eventually take a big hit, maybe even burying him deep into the bench behind Tim Frazier and Hield.

Moore is a decent scorer, but comes short just about everywhere else, making him more of a shoehorn starter than a real one.

Regardless, the Pelicans will need as much help as possible to rebound from an atrocious 2-9 start to the season.
