The free agent forward who last played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Shabazz Muhammad, is drawing a lot of interest. Muhammad spent four seasons in Minneapolis before reaching free agency this season. The Wolves decided to renounce his rights so they could sign players like guard Jeff Teague and forward Taj Gibson. That move by the franchise made Muhammad an unrestricted free agent.

As a good scorer and solid offensive threat off the bench, Muhammad has many teams interested in his services. As Marc J. Spears from ESPN reports, the interested teams are Hawks, Nets, Bucks, Knicks and Magic.

All things considered, Muhammad would be a great signing for any team that needs instant scoring from the bench. Also, he had a down year in terms of numbers and could be out there for less than he is truly worth.

Muhammad played 78 games last season for the Wolves. In the 19.4 minutes per game he averaged 9.9 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. Along with that, he shot 48.2 percent from the field and 33.8 percent from three.

All of these numbers are actually Muhammad's worst since his rookie year. However, last season Minnesota had a new coach with different philosophies, and Shabazz had to adjust.
