Former Iowa State Cyclones guard Naz Long has just agreed to a training camp deal with the Utah Jazz according to Real GM's Keith Smith.
The Utah Jazz have signed guard Naz Long of Iowa State. Expected to be a camp deal. Long played Summer League w/ Indiana and Sacramento.

The deal isn’t expected to be one that would land Long a regular season spot on the Jazz’s roster, but he could still work his way up the system.
It’s likelier that he’ll end up with the Jazz’s G League affiliate team, the Salt Lake City Stars, where he’ll hope to shine enough to get promoted to the big leagues. The Jazz’s guard depth is pretty much set as of the moment with newly-acquired Ricky Rubio and off-guard Rodney Hood handling the backcourt duties.
Before hooking up with Utah, Long played four games for the Indiana Pacers in the recent Summer League, posting averages of 9.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 0.8 assists over that stretch.
An Iowa State alum, Long spent five seasons in Ames, finishing his college career with averages of 15.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per contest.
It's official! I am truly blessed & ready to take on this next chapter in my life. Thank you, @utahjazz for the opportunity. #TakeNote pic.twitter.com/yzfxhufQKy
