The New York Knicks have not stayed in contact with star forward Kristaps Porzingis since he skipped his exit meeting following the end of the regular season, according to ESPN's Ian Begley.

International teammates Mindaugas Kuzminskas and Willy Hernangomez have kept in touch with the 7-foot-3 unicorn, who hasn't heard from either Knicks management or the coaching staff, per the report.

New York's rumors about president Phil Jackson being willing to dangle Porzingis in trade talks after two stellar seasons only makes this situation much more sinister with the lack of communication between the two parties.

A much-improved player at both ends, Porzingis struggled with injuries in 2016-17, still managing to average 18.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game in his second season in the Big Apple.

At only 21 years of age and with an 8-foot wingspan, Porzingis could be one of the best commodities at forward for any team willing to shell out the right asking price for his services.
