Former No. 1 pick Kwame Brown is ready for an NBA comeback. After signing with agency Interperformances, the latter wrote a glowing, hopeful pitch for his NBA future:

The #1 overall pick of the 2001 draft is ready for a new life. His comeback can be the road to glory for a team that believes in him. Kwame is back, physically healthy and ready to be the outstanding player he was on several NBA teams.

A great intimidator that can block shots, rebound consistently and explode in devastating dunks. No longer the young man that entered the NBA, Kwame is now an experienced and mature player and man. And he's back, for the love of the game.

Brown was one of the string of players drafted out of high school to struggle in the NBA. Back in 2001, the draft saw the likes of Pau Gasol, Joe Johnson, and Zach Randolph, all multiple time All-Stars drafted after Brown.

With the NBA market transforming into smaller line-ups, we're yet to see if a team will take interest in Brown, who has career averages of 6.6 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.

Brown is 34 years old and last played for the Philadelphia 76ers back in the 2012-2013 season.
