Kwame Brown, often discussed as one of the biggest draft busts in NBA history, reportedly has intentions of returning to the NBA. His agent at Interperformances wrote a rousing endorsement for Brown in making the official announcement on Monday:

The #1 overall pick of the 2001 draft is ready for a new life. His comeback can be the road to glory for a team that believes in him. Kwame is back, physically healthy and ready to be the outstanding player he was on several NBA teams.

Brown, who holds career averages of 6.6 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, is realistic about his odds of making a return to the association. An NBA comeback might not be in the cards.

If so, he'll need to assess his options elsewhere. He's begun the process by revealing his asking price.

According to international basketball reporter David Pick, Kwame is looking for a deal overseas in the $300K range.

The former number one overall pick never materialized into the dominant player that scouts envisioned him to be. Brown struggled with his drive and confidence, but he still managed to stay in the league for 12 seasons.

After beginning his career with the Washington Wizards, Kwame played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Memphis Grizzlies, Detroit Pistons, Charlotte Bobcats, Golden State Warriors, and the Philadelphia 76ers. He last played in 2012-13.
