Paul George has made a spectacular recovery from his gruesome leg injury in the summer of 2014. He was even more impressive for the Indiana Pacers in his first full season back and has carried that over to Team USA.

Early in the third quarter of an exhibition game between the United States and China, George had a very minor left leg injury, per Jared Greenberg of NBA TV.

As stated, George sat out to avoid risking any further injury in an unimportant blowout exhibition game. With the start of the Rio Olympics just a week away, Team USA has a lot of firepower to go with at any given time, but they'll want to make sure every player is as close to 100% as possible.

The U.S. will play their next exhibition game against the Venezuelan National Team in Chicago on Friday, July 29th at 9 PM EST on NBA TV.
