R.J. Hunter was one of the unfortunate casualties Monday with teams looking to finalize their rosters before the start of the regular season.

The Boston Celtics waived the former first round pick leaving Hunter in search of a new home. He may have found one already.

Hunter could be a good fit in Chicago because he can add some much-needed shooting to the Bulls' roster which doesn't have much of it.

Hunter only played in 36 games last season for the Celtics and shot 30.2 percent from the 3-point line. In college however, he was a prolific scorer making over 250 triples over three seasons.

Boston was loaded with young assets and with no big trade ever getting done, eventually the Celtics were forced to make the tough decision and let a player like Hunter go.
