Despite a relatively thin market for the point guard position in this year's free agent class, there's several teams vying for the services of free agent guard Rodney Stuckey, according to USA TODAY Sports' Sam Amick.

A combo guard at a sturdy 6-foot, 5-inches, Stuckey has proven to be a potent scorer off the bench, capable of mustering 20-point outings with ease when in a groove.

The Eastern Washington product was waived by the Indiana Pacers late last month and now has the opportunity to bolster a team's bench.

Stuckey has dealt with injuries during his last two seasons in Indiana after sporting a relatively clean bill of health during his first eight seasons in the league.

He averaged 7.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game in 39 games off the bench for the Pacers last season. The 31-year-old is one of few prominent veteran options at the guard position in this year's free agency market — one that includes the likes of George Hill, Vince Carter, Nick Young, Leandro Barbosa and the possible addition of Jamal Crawford into the mix if a proposed three-team trade goes through today.
