According to a rather startling report, there's legit tension between Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Dirk Koetter and star quarterback Jameis Winston.

This is a rather huge deal.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the relationship between Dirk Koetter and quarterback Jameis Winston is “not in a good place,” and that “there’s definitely some tension there.”

According to the report, Winston didn't feel supported enough during his shoulder issue.

As you might remember, Koetter is basically the head coach of the Bucs because of his once great relationship with Winston.

To add fuel to this fire, Jon Gruden, who is now once again emerging as a potential coach, loves himself Winston.

I think he’s outstanding,” Gruden said Friday, via Ira Kaufman of JoeBucsFan.com. “I think he’s a tremendous talent. The only thing he hasn’t done yet is win, and I think he will win. Sometimes, you’ve got to be a little patient. Sometimes, you’ve got to be a little more patient than you want to be. I believe he’s going to be a great quarterback. He’s just getting started.”

Those comments, coupled with this report, will almost certainly result in rumors of Gruden going to Tampa Bay. I mean, it shouldn't. Still, it will.
