The last time Chris Bosh played in an NBA game was February of last year. It feels like it has been a lot longer and surely that is the same case for Bosh himself. As we know, Chris Bosh was diagnosed with blood clots last year and understandably had to take time off from basketball.

The Miami Heat have been very gracious the past year and a half with Bosh as he works through his health issues. Unfortunately, given how long it has been, the Heat are ready to part ways with Bosh this summer.

Chris Bosh will be looking for a new team immediately that will hopefully clear him to play if he is indeed let go by the team. Unfortunately, for Bosh, it does not seem like at this point that a team will clear him.

From an anonymous Western Conference executive (via NBA.com):

“I don't see how medical people will want to sign off and clear him. Unless something has changed with his health recently … I don't know of a team that would want to take that type of a risk.”

We all know of how talented Chris Bosh is, but talent doesn't matter when his health is of a concern. Until Chris Bosh is fully healthy, he may not find a place to play.
