Resident Evil: Code Veronica may not be the most popular game in the series. However, it has a lot of fans. It sold over a million copies, after all. Add in the thousands of Claire Redfield fans, and you get considerable demand for a remake of Code Veronica. This game is one of the few games to feature her.

With the intent of bringing Resident Evil: Code Veronica to the same level as RE2 and Re3, the developers started from scratch. The two-man development team made sure that they are faithful to the game's original feel. Hence, the game adapts the modern third-person over-the-shoulder perspective but also allows the classic fixed camera angle perspective. The project follows the original story and puzzles of Code Veronica, delighting RE purists.

Resident Evil: Code Veronica Remake just released its final demo last week, version 1.2. While not exactly the most flawless game out there, for a two-man team, this game works like a charm. It feels like a slightly more wobbly version of RE2 and RE3. With no official news about a Resident Evil: Code Veronica Remake from Capcom, we're glad that this game exists.

If you appreciate this project as much as we did, then support the developers by getting the demo and spreading the word. Right now, the developers say that they don't want to take any donations from their fans – the project was made entirely out of passion.
