Village is definitely one of our most anticipated games for 2021. That's why we were on the edge of our seats during the latest showcase. In that showcase, we got a brand new Resident Evil Village trailer, and even a playable Resident Evil Village demo for the PlayStation 5. But most importantly, the showcase has finally revealed the Resident Evil Village release date.

Resident Evil Village Trailer

Resident Evil Village release date: May 7, 2021

One of the most talked-about parts of Village is the new antagonists of the game. These are tall, elegantly dressed but certainly deadly lady vampires. In the game, Ethan travels from the village to the castle owned by the vampires. It seems like he's not a welcome guest, as so far we've seen Ethan play hide and seek with these scary lady vampires.

If that's something you're looking forward to, then congratulations. You can start fooling around with deadly lady vampires starting May 7, 2021, the RE Village release date.

In case you missed out on the hype, check out our previous articles on RE Village. If you missed last week's announcement of the showcase, you might have missed these three things shown in the trailer. If you're diving deeper into the Resident Evil Village rabbit hole, do so with our “Five things you need to know about RE Village” article.

If you own a PlayStation 5 and want to experience the game firsthand, you can do so by downloading the demo. The demo is more of a visual and gameplay showcase meant to introduce the atmosphere that Village will have. The 15-minute “Maiden” demo is only available for the PlayStation 5. Sorry, PC and Microsoft fans. The best you guys can do is watch others play the game on Youtube, just like this one:
