Jobless and probably bored out of his mind, former Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III found himself ranting on Twitter again Tuesday afternoon.

Griffin, who recently went on a multiple 140-character tirades directed at former teammate Santana Moss,  this time was reacting to a tweet by sports radio personality Peter Rosenberg, who wondered why it is taking this long for controversial free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick to find work in the NFL when there are a handful of teams out there that could use an upgrade at the position.

Griffin once had a bright future in the NFL after having a fantastic rookie season with the Redskins, even leading the team to the playoffs in his first year in the league in 2012. But a combination of injuries and off-the-field issues have conspired to diminish his value over the years. Griffin signed a two-year contract with the Cleveland Browns last year but was released last March, and now is still waiting for a call from NFL teams.

Griffin is just 27, and though he has picked up numerous injuries, he can be useful at least as a backup quarterback. Unfortunately for the former Heisman Trophy winner, Brandon Weeden has already gotten a new contract before him.
