Following their tough come-from-behind victory against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 2 of their first round playoff series on Wednesday, Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey saw first hand how Russell Westbrook almost single-handedly willed his team to victory.

However, for the 45-year-old front office executive, he believes the Brodie is more of a stat-padding player. Morey took a subtle shot at him by replying to tweets made by his team's former player, Matt Bullard, about Hakeem Olajuwon telling him to leave the rebounding to him. He made it clear that he thinks Olajuwon is different from Westbrook, and that it wasn't his fault why he was instructed by The Dream to do so before.

With the Rockets' franchise player, James Harden, also one of the favorites to win the MVP Award this season, his tweets can be considered his way to highlight The Beard's ability to lead his team to victories, which is also evident with Houston now up 2-0 against the Thunder.

Westbrook is known to not shy away from firing back at his critics. With the series now shifting to Oklahoma City, it remains to be seen how he will respond to Morey's comments. Should it serve as extra motivation for him to play even better, Morey may regret posting his tweets, as it could mean more epic performances from the six-time All-Star, which may lead to victories over his team.
