Houston Rockets combo guard Austin Rivers played four seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers. He got to play for his dad, head coach Doc Rivers, and with point guard Chris Paul, power forward Blake Griffin center DeAndre Jordan and veteran shooting guard Jamal Crawford.

Rivers was part of some good Clippers teams, but the club was never able to live up to expectations. Los Angeles never made it past the second-round of the playoffs in the Paul-Griffin-Jordan era.

The Big Three of Griffin, Paul and Jordan was broken up in the summer of 2017 when the Clippers traded Paul to the Rockets. Griffin was traded to the Detroit Pistons in January of 2017 and Jordan left in free agency last summer.

Rivers' tenure in Los Angeles ended after the franchise traded him to the Washington Wizards last offseason. The guard, who is now reunited with Paul on the Rockets, reflected on his time with the Clippers.

The Rockets signed Austin Rivers on Dec. 24 after he was waived by the Phoenix Suns. The former Duke star has been a huge addition to a Houston team which is third in the Western Conference.

In 43 games with the Rockets, Rivers is averaging 8.8 points and 2.3 assists while shooting 41.4 percent from the field and 32.4 percent from the 3-point line.
