Houston Rockets star Chris Paul is of the opinion that teammate James Harden is the best offensive player that he has ever seen in the NBA.

Harden once again had a monster scoring output in Monday night's 102-97 win over the Utah Jazz as he finished with 47 points in 41 minutes of action.

Of course, this performance came just days after his 50-point effort in the 126-11 win over the Los Angeles Lakers, so it's obvious that Harden is having no trouble finding ways to score right now.

That has apparently caught the attention of Paul, who thinks that his teammate's scoring skills are unlike anything he's seen before.

Here's what Paul had to say about Harden's insane offensive abilities, courtesy of Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle:

Some great quotes in the game rewrite to be posted in a bit. Such as Chris Paul on Harden: ““He’s the best offensive player I’ve ever seen. He can drive. He can shoot. He’s got ball-handling. It’s going to be a tough night for whoever it is. I don’t care what you’re doing.”

That's a pretty tremendous compliment there, and while some may disagree, there's no doubt that Harden has one of the most versatile offensive approaches in NBA history.

He's now averaging 30.9 points on the season, and he'll likely put together a lot more 40-point performances during the 2018-19 campaign.

The Rockets have now won four straight games after an 11-14 start, and they'll look to keep things rolling when they host the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night.
