Huston Rockets center Clint Capela is expected to be held out of Friday night's home game against the Indiana Pacers due to a concussion, according to a report from ESPN's Tim MacMahon.

Capela was evaluated after taking a charge in the latter stages of Wednesday night's victory over the Clippers. He collided with JaMychal Green and appeared to hit his head. Capela did speak with the media following the game.

News of Capela's concussion is a fairly tough blow for the Rockets, who are currently holding an 8-3 record through their first 11 games. Tyson Chandler will likely see an uptick in his usage rate until Capela is well enough to return. P.J. Tucker could be asked to play a bit more as well.

In his 11 appearances with the Rockets this season, Capela has racked up averages of 13.4 points on 65.0 percent shooting from the field, 12.5 rebounds and 2.2 blocks in 30.2 minutes per outing.

Capela's injury isn't the only one that the Rockets are currently dealing with. In fact, there are seven players listed on their injury report, according to rotoworld.com. Some are more serious than others.

Friday night's Rockets-Pacers matchup is set to tip inside the Toyota Center at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Let's see if the Rockets — now on a five-game winning streak — can keep their momentum rolling.
