After eliminating the Utah Jazz in Game 5 of their first round playoff series, Houston Rockets stars Clint Capela and Chris Paul are now raring to face the Golden State Warriors.

The Rockets beat the Jazz 100-93 to move on to the second round. They are likely to face the Warriors, who are currently leading their series against the Los Angeles Clippers.

In their postgame presser, Capela and Paul didn't shy away from talking about their potential rematch with the Dubs. In fact, Capela said that he wants to face Golden State and beat them. Meanwhile, Paul scoffs at the possibility and made sure to encourage the media to hype up the storyline.

Both Clint Capela and Chris Paul have playoff demons to cast off. Paul will always remember his injury in the final two games of the Western Conference Finals last year, during which the Warriors edged the Rockets in Game 7 in his absence.

CP3 has never reached the NBA Finals in his career, so he will certainly be hoping to end that drought after coming so close in 2018.

No matter what, it should be a brilliant series, and as Capela said: “If you want to be the champion, you’ve got to beat the champion.”
