Houston Rockets swingman Danuel House figured in a scary fall in Game 1 against the Los Angeles Lakers after colliding with his own teammate PJ Tucker.

With under three minutes left in the third period of the close-contested match, House got inadvertently hit in the face by Tucker's outstretched hand as they both tried to control possession of the loose ball.

Here's the scary sequence that sent him sprawling to the floor in pain.

While it initially looked like the Rockets forward collided with Alex Caruso, a close look would reveal that Tucker's hand hit him in the face.

Danuel House was immediately taken out of the game and was ruled out for the rest of the night. Interestingly, he was not put in a concussion protocol, per Houston Chronicle's Jonathan Feigen. His status for the Rockets in Game 2 currently remains uncertain, but Houston are certainly hoping he won't miss time due to the accident.

Prior to the hit, House was doing a fine job defensively for the Rockets in the first three quarters. He had four points in 20 minutes of action.
