The Houston Rockets don't have a pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. General manager Daryl Morey, though, says preparing for the non pick this year takes longer than preparing for an actual pick.

Morey is trying to be funny in a time where there's a lot of noise surrounding the Rockets. Numerous reports have stated All-Stars Chris Paul and James Harden aren't getting along behind the scenes. One report even suggested Paul wants the Rockets to trade him this summer.

Clearly, Houston hasn't responded well to losing to the Golden State Warriors in the second round of the 2019 playoffs in six games. Head coach Mike D'Antoni still doesn't have a new contract despite rumors saying he was supposedly negotiating a one with Morey and owner Tilman Fertitta.

But all the focus is on Morey, Paul and Harden. Both Morey and Paul said the report claiming Paul has requested a trade is false, while we haven't heard from Harden since the playoffs ended. If Paul and Harden are teammates next season, you can 100 percent assume all eyes will be on their interactions all season long.

Even if the Rockets wanted to trade Paul, there isn't a team out there that wants CP3's contract.
