DeMarcus Cousins and John Wall are reuniting on the Houston Rockets after the Clutch City franchise traded Russell Westbrook to the Washington Wizards for Wall.

Cousins and Wall were teammates in college at Kentucky and remain very close friends to this day. So, as everyone expected, Boogie is pretty excited about playing with Wall on the Rockets.

Both DeMarcus Cousins and John Wall sat out the entire 2019-20 season. Wall was recovering from an Achilles tear, while Cousins rehabbed an ACL injury.

The Rockets, at least on paper, now have a Big 4 of James Harden, Cousins, Wall and Eric Gordon. Houston also acquired Christian Wood from the Detroit Pistons in a sign-and-trade deal, so the franchise has certainly surrounded Harden with some nice pieces.

Wall has career NBA averages of 19.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 9.2 assists with the Wizards. Cousins, meanwhile, has put up 21.2 points, 10.9 boards and 3.2 assists with the Sacramento Kings, New Orleans Pelicans and Golden State Warriors. The four-time All-Star was a member of the Los Angeles Lakers last season but didn't play at all after tearing his ACL during a pick-up game during the summer of 2019.

It's going to be very interesting to see if Wall and Cousins can stay healthy with the Rockets. With the 2020-21 season set to start on Dec. 22, it appears Harden isn't going to get traded despite rumors going around he wants out of Houston.
