When your offense isn't working, you better find other ways to help your team win. Houston Rockets star James Harden did just that.

The former MVP came up with a huge defensive play to help the Rockets survive a 104-102 win on Wednesday's Game 7 against the Thunder. Harden ended up with a game-saving block on Lu Dort, who was partially open for a 3-pointer to possibly bring OKC up by two.

Harden followed up his block with an impressive (and acrobatic) move, as Dort tried to throw the ball off him to gain back possession. The heads up play by the Rockets superstar had Dwyane Wade and other NBA players and athletes hyped.

The Rockets gained the ball back after James Harden's defensive stop, with Robert Covington converting a key free throw to ultimately hand Houston the game and the series. Covington had a career playoff night and ended up with 21 points, 10 rebounds, three blocks and three steals. He, alongside Eric Gordon and Russell Westbrook, filled in the void for Harden's rough shooting night.

Harden ended the night with just 17 points on 4-of-15 shooting (1-9 from 3-point distance). It was a far cry from his average of 34.3 points per game for the Rockets this season, though he did salvage his stat line with two steals and three blocks.

The eight-time All-Star doesn't have the luxury of time to shake off his fatigue and recover from an end-to-end seven-game series. The Rockets are set to suit up for another tough matchup in the second-round against LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the rest of the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.
