The Houston Rockets may be down 0-2 to the Golden State Warriors, but Rockets veteran swingman Gerald Green believes the team is even more dangerous when their backs are up against the wall.

Game 3 on Saturday at the Toyota Center is a must-win game for the Rockets. No team in NBA history has ever come back from a 0-3 deficit to win a series.

Green says a wounded animal is the most dangerous and that the Rockets play their best basketball when they have been hit.

“You know what they say about a wounded animal — they’re the most dangerous,” Green said, via Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle. “Right now, we’re wounded. We’re down 2-0, they hit us first, so we’ve got our backs in a corner. But we play our best when it’s like that for us.”

The Rockets are undefeated at home in the playoffs. They went 31-10 at the Toyota Center during the regular season.

The role players on Houston such as Gerald Green, Danuel House and Austin Rivers will need to shoot the ball better at home. Green scored 15 points in Game 2 after struggling in Game 1. The high-flyer needs to play well in Game 3 and bring an offensive boost off the bench for the Rockets.
